‘Any dog, if threatened or is in pain, can bite. It doesn’t matter whether it is your family dog or street dog. Dogs bite about 4.7 million Americans every year. Half of the victims are younger than fourteen years of age. During the National Dog Bite Prevention Week (May 21 - 27), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has observed this data.
AAP and American Veterinary Medical Association, together, are giving the guidelines about the safety measures before purchasing family dog. They provide some tips to prevent such incidents as socialize your pet to keep away the danger of biting. Dog training is more important. Do not avoid the vaccination for the dogs.
