A recent study has proved that artificial food coloring, and preservative has wrong impact on children, and it makes the child hyperactive. Food colors contain dyes and harmful chemicals, which makes your child hyperactive.

Hyperactivity in children is associated with the attention deficit disorder. Many parents assumed that the food coloring is causing attention difficulties in their child, and the study confirmed, hyperactivity, a closed link to children’s diet and added artificial food colors and preservatives. Lack of concentration in studies like, learning and reading problems, excessive physical work, emotional difficulties, and disruptive behavior are some of the drawbacks of hyperactivity in children.

The childhood attention deficit disorder, and hyperactivity, is affecting nearly 5-10% of children in America. Lack of iron, magnesium, vitamin B complex, and harmful chemicals in food, like carmoisine, and sodium benzoate contributes in hyperactivity and ADHD in children. Many countries have banned the use of food products containing carmoisine, quinoline yellow, generally present in cold drinks, sweets, ice-creams, cosmetic, and bubblegum, but US has still not given the red signal to such products.

One needs to develop a healthy lifestyle like, one should not smoke during pregnancy, as smoking can effect child’s growth and can lead to hyperactivity and ADHD in children. Essential fatty acids supplements, foods rich in amino acid, natural herbs can improve hyperactivity, and ADHD in children.

The solution lies with, saying no to artificial food colors and preservatives in children’ diet. Removing such chemical based-dyes from the food, avoiding sweets and high sugar content food and substituting it with healthy iron, magnesium, and vitamin B rich food can improve the Childs’ hyperactivity, overactive, disruptive and impulsive behavior.
