It is disappointing that professionals are favoring substances such as growth hormones over easily-traceable anabolic steroids, without knowing their negative after-effects. The New Scientist reports this.
Experts in Turin say that many Winter Olympic competitors have taken illegal drugs at some point in their careers. And many drug users were going undetected, athletics chiefs admitted.
