Exploring this equation further researchers have revealed that people who know how to transform negative emotions into positive ones, are less likely to have health troubles.

Before throwing up this conclusion, researchers studied about 193 volunteers daily for two weeks about the positive and negative emotions they had experienced each day and finally concluded that positive-thinkers were less prone to infectious health problems like cold or flu virus. On the other end, negative-thinkers were more prone to such health problems. This shows that how significant role positive thinking plays in our life, especially in health sphere.

Remarking on the significance of positive thinking Darin D. Dougherty, MD, Massachusetts General Hospital said:

Positive emotions are thought to be beneficial to health. But when we experience negative emotions in excess, they can be physically and psychologically harmful.
