Researchers have finally completed a blueprint of chromosome 1. The blueprint has 3,141 genes and eight percent of all human genetic information. The study has been published in the ‘Book of Life’ under the article human genetic code. Now the mapping of human genome project has completed and illustrated as colossal success.
Each cell consist chromosomes, a collection of DNAs. Chromosome 1 is the largest among others and may be linked with above 350 diseases such as cancers, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. The complete genetic blueprint and sequence has published in the journal Nature.
